主要从事李代数、量子群、赫克代数及相关代数的表示理论以及相应的代数组合理论的研究，解决了相关代数的表示论中的一些重要特征标问题和重数问题，在Adv. Math.，Proc. LMS，Trans. AMS等国际著名学术期刊上共发表十余篇论文，曾主持国家自然科学基金4项，并受邀在全国代数学学术会议和全国李理论会议做大会报告。
